Discovery Tours Picks Up New Bus & Returns With Guest

Last week one of the drivers for Discovery Tours out of Seattle, Washington flew down to California to pick up their brand new bus. Then about 21 people from Washington also flew down to California and were picked up in the new bus for the bus' maiden trip to its new home in Washington. Along the way they stopped at several very interesting sites which included the new Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Library (Museum) in Simi Valley, California.

They will never forget the trip because of the places they visited and because of the weather storm
they encountered along the way. At one point the new bus was stranded in the snow for
about 4 hours but this was not a problem. The visitors were able to
remain inside their very comfortable new bus until the roads were clear.

Laws are passed by legislators and they only pass laws after they have been affected by a circumstance or event.
Example: Many years ago a senator and his wife were visiting out of town and were staying in a motel. In the senator's home, the hot water control for their shower was on the left side. In the motel the hot water control was on the right. So when the senator's wife turned on the right side valve for what she thought was cold water, instead hot water came out and she was burned. A few weeks later we had a new law that stated that all new valves installed in a building would be standardized with the left control for the hot water and the right side for the cold water.
Many legislators like to smoke and because they have not been directly involved in an accident where someone was smoking while they were driving, they don't care if people smoke and drive at the same time. If a legislator ever looses a family member or is injured theirself because someone was smoking while they were driving, then you will have a new law that says that you can not smoke while you are driving.

Until that happens, just try to stay clear of someone that is
smoking, drinking or talking on their cell phone while they are driving.

I hope that someone can explain something for me. In many states it is illegal to talk on your cell phone because just a couple years ago they discovered that it was dangerous to cell talk and drive. Most states have a law that you need to wear a helmet if you drive a motorcycle, and every state has a law that you can get a ticket if you don't buckle up.
Many years ago they discovered that smoking while you are driving caused automobile accidents, and that smoking killed more people than were killed by not wearing a helmet, or were killed because they did not wear a seat belt. They even made it illegal to drink and drive.
So my question is this.
Why is it still legal for a person to smoke and try to drive a motor vehicle at the same time?

Only 8,000 acutal miles and it's a Duesy! The Duesenberg was built to outclass everything on the road. The Duesenberg II offers it's passengers the same exhiliration as though driving the original classic. At the same time they enjoy the comfort and conviences of a modern car together with the dependability of today's engineering.
Factory built in 1982. Only a total of 47 of these works of art were built. They rarely become available to the public. People that own them won't sell them. The Duesenberg II is a very authentic recreation. Like the original, it has intricate detail and is beautiful from every angle.
Because of the high quality, only 1 per month were built. It has a custom built frame with Ford/Lincoln mechanicals. It can be serviced at a Ford dealer. The original would fetch over 2.5 million dollars and drives like a dump truck. This car shares the same beauty and drives with ease. There is not a car on the road more impressive. A new rolls would not get noticed next to this car.
Building a world class car for the elite. This was the motivation behind the Duesenberg. Very few people could afford one. Wealthy business tycoons and movie stars bought them. Duesenberg survived the great depression but ended production in 1937. In 1982 Heritage Motors revived the prestigious Duesenberg name. The Duesenberg II is a full size, indistinguishable version of the SJ La Grande Dual Cowl Phaeton. The DII uses the same 154 inch wheelbase. Many parts are cast from the original. The limited production lasted only a few years.
The DII is an official antique car being over 25 years old. It is a true collectable that has earned the respect of car enthusiasts. It is an investment as much as it is a pleasure to own.
